Ivan Abujamra
Depois de anos na frente das lentes, como modelo internacional, trabalhando com os maiores fotógrafos do mundo, Ivan resolveu pular para trás das câmeras. Começou então sua carreira como fotógrafo em Janeiro de 2000. De lá pra cá já participou de várias exposições fotográficas, de livros de arte, contribuiu com revistas de moda e até ganhou o primeiro prêmio de fotografia da oitava Bienal de Arte Contemporânea de Roma. Ficou mais confiante e acrescentou às suas “skills” a direção de fotografia, fotografando diversas peças publicitárias e também o documentário “O Nome dela é Gal” para a HBO. À partir daí começou a dirigir filmes publicitários, atendendo clientes como Unilever, VW, GM, Marisa, Itaipava, entre outros. No teatro se aventurou na iluminação do espetáculo “As Filhas de Bernarda”, que além de idealizar o desenho de luz, filmou e produziu um media metragem que está em carreira internacional; o filme com o mesmo nome já foi premiado duas vezes em Londres, em Los Angeles e em Fargo;

After years in front of the lens, as an international model, working with the greatest photographers in the world, Ivan decided to jump behind the cameras. He then started his career as a photographer in January 2000. Since then he has participated in several photographic exhibitions, art books, contributed to fashion magazines and even won the first photography prize at the 8th Biennial of Contemporary Art in Rome. He became more confident and added the direction of photography to his “skills”, photographing several advertising pieces and also the documentary “Her name is Gal” for HBO. From then on, he started directing advertising films, for clients such as Unilever, VW, GM, Marisa, Itaipava, among others. In the theater he ventured into the lighting of the show “The Daughters of Bernarda”, which besides idealizing the light design, filmed and produced a medium-length film that is in an international career; the film with the same name has already been awarded twice in London, Los Angeles and Fargo;
